Namaste, I’m Trina and thank you for welcoming me into this lovely yoga community. I discovered yoga 30 years ago under the tutelage of an inspiring Iyengar yoga teacher. Despite a break in my practice to undertake weight training, Pilates and other sports, I found myself drawn back to the magic of yoga and have embraced it as a life-long holistic practice.
I passionately believe that yoga provides the ultimate tonic for life – a philosophy that blends physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being into one practice that is accessible to everyone.
My classes are varied from week to week, but all will include asana (physical poses), pranayama (breath work), and relaxation techniques. I believe in working “from the ground up” to focus on alignment and functional anatomy to deepen our practice and build strength, mobility and endurance. I also believe yoga should be fun and playful.
